Jehovah's Snitches
by Gnosis indo members of a congregation usually snitch on each other for "sinful behaviour" a fellow member is caught doing ?.
like smoking for example.
how common is this snitching in the name of jehovah and is it encouraged by elders or in propaganda works ?.

Another catagory of jw's that are really irritating are the ones that are always "concerned" about somebody's spiritual whatever. Their just busybodies watching to see whose at the meetings, whose not out in field service, inappropriate clothing questionable behavior at gatherings keeping a watchful eye bothering everyone. My husband told me he was sick of people coming to him with their concerns. We are so glad to be out of that spyworld.

I was snitched on for saying that I didn't like the idea of 7 billion humans being executed at armageddon and another person told the elders that i was questioning the governing body as god's channel so I was called in for questioning to see if I said those things and one elder said If i did that would be apostasy.

When I was a child i would walk to the Elizabeth Public library which was built in 1912. It was a mysterious place full of rooms that contained narrow rows of books and it felt like a place with secrets. It's probably been at least 45 yrs since I was there but what i remember most is a feeling that one would get from that old ornate building it was an experience that I've never had in any other library.

Being alive
by Nika Bee inhello, i am (almost) new here, and in the beginning i didn't really think that i would ever post something here.
but then.... yesterday i had a little experience, nothing important , people who haven't been in the organisation have probably a hard time to understand why it's even worth talking (writing) about.
but i though if there are people who can relate to it, they are here, and if not this post will just disappear in the internet and no harm was done.. i was walking my friends' dogs in the evening sun, not thinking about anything.

Through a Darkened Pane
by compound complex inmy frequent walks these last few years about the neighborhood so familiar to me would ordinarily be construed a pleasant enough non-event.
a little mild exercise - taken in small doses to keep the joints operating properly - and a keen eye peeled for the ever-changing face of nature have rendered the daily promenade a suitable diversion.
until recently.

Joyce Kilmer wrote a poem The house with nobody in it
I memorized that poem when i was young because it meant something to me even though i was probably only eleven at the time and i still have it packed nicely away in my brain.

Everyday I read whatever interests me and think whatever thoughts i find fascinating and we go on as many weekend getaways as we can afford and we watch whatever movies we want and i find my thinking abilities clear and sharpened.
